Default help with leak

I noticed when i was replacing my motor mounts, that there was oil on my filter and a coolant hose... when i look above i noticed it only pooled right at this spot under the tct. i recently did the billman tct, so i thought it may have been do to that . im not sure, i can really use some help... super dry just about everywhere else.... i was considering starting with the vtec solenoid gaskets for poops n giggles. and help is greatly appreciated

Probably just oil that dribbled down from doing the TCT. I'd clean it off and see if it comes back. Don't spray the engine with brake cleaner. Just put some brake cleaner on a rag and wipe the oil off.

BTW, you really should use a Honda oil filter and torque it down.

Are those the bolts Bill furnished with the TCT? Be careful. Torque spec for these bolts is 8.7 lbf-ft (that's less than nine!).

Non spec oil filter is begging for problems.

If you don't want an oil filter leak and engine fire, do what B Serious said to do. Very Soon: get an OEM oil filter and torque it to spec with a wrench. You cannot do it by hand like a regular car oil filter. Read all about it on this forum.
