Default Help locating G101 ground

Even with the pic, I can't seem to locate it by sight or feel. I found a 10mm bolt on the back of the head but it seemed to be holding a bracket. It wasn't loose but I snugged it up a little tighter. I don't think this is the right bolt though, if someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

it says middle of engine, probably lower than you are looking and on the block as opposed to the head. It's hard to see down there, might be easier to see from under the car or with the valvecover removed ?

I found mine by feeling. I finally ended up getting a ratchet wrench on it after like 20 minutes, real PITA. I'm pretty sure you will have to feel lower than you are right now though.

Thanks guys, I'll take a closer look tomorrow. I have been having an intermittent issue where the car will crank but not start, this seems to a likely cause.

Oh my god the mythical ground DOES exists. No way you could get to that with the motor in the car, nor can you check it.

OP, did you ever fix your starting problem? I get one cold start then after that it will turn over very slow but won't crank. This is with a new battery and starter.

I couldn't see this ground but I got my hands on it. It felt tight or was at least not hand loose but I couldn't get a wrench on it.

The ground was secure and not the issue. In my case, the car would crank normally but just not start. I found that if I did a key on/off/on cycle then it would start. I seem to have an occasional electrical gremlin in my car, it just went away after a couple weeks and has been working fine since. I can't attribute it working to anything specific that I did. Sorry I can't be much help, good luck getting it sorted out.
