i think it was EM_S2k that did it by going through the bumper...i know it happened to a socal member a few months ago, try searching that forum...

that's what some ppl tell me to do also but something doesn't sound right how you remove the bumper without openning the trunk since there is 2 clip you can't get to when the trunk is close

Carbon fiber trunk or oem? My carbon fiber trunk gets stuck sometimes too, all I do is hit the trunk button repeatedly then recheck the trunk. Works all the time for me, sometimes you just gotta keep hitting the button.

OEM and I'm ready to check it to the CF one I have but I can't do that if it doesn't open also I don't want to damage the stock trunk

Only reason why mine were acting up is due to the fact that I'd installed sound deadening, yours should be fine but if your oem is acting up already then chances are is that your carbon fiber one will too.
Should have it check out seeing that it's oem and it's sticking/won't open, that's unless you'd messed with something. If so then you can try to back track and see if you'd touched anything that'll make it the way it is.

Could it be a fuse? Wire(s) that you'd accidentally cut? Just trying to give you some ideas, hope this helps.
