Default HELP! Radiator Fan wont turn On after Coolant Flush

Alright fellas, I need some help w/ my 2001.
Today I attempted to perform a coolant flush following this thread....http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=12152

I followed everything step by step except I skipped the "remove engine block drain plug" b/c I was confused and figured it wasnt absolutely necessary. I replaced the coolant w/ Honda Type II.

Problem: The radiator fan will not turn on bc the thermostat isnt opening. The lower hose does not warm up & the interior heater is not warming up either.
Im guessing there are still air pockets in it?

Can anyone please help & tell me how to properly 'BURP' it or tell me whats the problem?

Sounds likely that you have air in the system, open the breeders and jack up the front of the car.

The car is jacked up and ready to be bled. I just need the proper procedure on how to bleed it.

I tried opening the bleeder then put the funnel on the rad neck and fill it until the bleeder streams out.
Then close the bleeder, then close the rad cap.

There's another bleed point on the heater bypass line next to the firewall. It's an aluminum line with cap held on with a hose clamp about in the center of firewall. Start the car and dial the heater temp to full HOT to open the heater valve and turn OFF engine. With engine cool open the bleeder valve and remove the cap from the bypass heater line. Remove the radiator cap and fill until fluid starts to flow out of the bleeder. Close the bleeder and continue filling until fluid starts to flow out of the heater bypass line. Replace the bleeder cap and radiator cap. Start the car and let it come up to normal temp (fans kick on). Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Recheck the coolant level and fill if necessary. Also, not sure but if your thermostat is stuck open or leaky it might be hard to bleed the system if it is.

Okay I just did that step by step and still no go. I filled it until the coolant came out of the heater bypass line bleeder.
Im pretty sure the thermostat isnt stuck since it was working before I flushed the system

Anymore suggestions?

Does the engine reach operating temperature? Try jumping the cooling fan relay and see if it turns on. That will rule out the fan itself.

You must have air trapped in the system. When you opened the bypass line how much more coolant did you add before it came out of the bleed point? Also make sure the heater is on full HEAT to open the heater valve. I've heard some cars can be a PITA to "burp". Maybe you just need to repeat the bleed - run engine - bleed again cycle to get the air out.

I opened the rad cap, bleeder screw, bypass line cap. Then I filled the rad cap w/ a funnel with coolant until it came out of the bleeder screw so then I closed it. Then I added more coolant until the bypass line cap until coolant spit out. Ill try to do it again in the morning I guess. I just want to get this fixed bc its really frustrating me
