Hey guys so im trying to put my oem intake back on and i cant remember where all of the hoses are supposed to go, i looked up 2 diagrams and i got confused with them. In the first diagram labeled 11b8 it shows the 2 hoses between #3 and #8 going straight through, but in the second diagram (pic #3) it shows them going through the wierd metal hose thing (i drew a blue circle around it). So i was thinking could i just do what the first diagram shows and use my hose that came with my cai that goes from the engine block to the intake tube and just avoid the whole metal hose piece? Look at the second fourth and fifth pictures for a better idea of what im talking about.
