Default HELP! S wont start

Hey everyone.

So I was driving around today. Just got home to pick something up. When I went back to my car to turn it on I got no response from my engine.

I have the key in the on position and push the button but nothing happens. I wasn't even 5 minutes from the time between me getting home and trying to start it up again.

When I push the button I hear a clicking noise meaning the button should be working. but it just doesnt start up. Any ideas??

Clicking noises points to an electrical problem. Sounds like a blown fuse or dead battery.

not at all. the battery is brand new from honda..

Im leaning more towards the starter. It might be faulty.

I left it alone for 20min. came back and it fired right up.

You can get a whole rebuilt starter for around 140$ from napa. Not sure how much just the solenoid is. But considering how much of a pain it is to get the starter out of our cars I would go ahead and replace the whole thing while your at it so you won't have to later lol. Before you buy a new starter get the one you have checked first though. Dont want to spend money you dont need to
