Default Help...S2K not starting

Today my '03 GPW would not start. Battery seems fine....lights , windows and radio work, etc. 103k miles and recently serviced in Honda shop.

Any dumb issue that I may not be thinking about? Otherwise, I would guess the starter is kaput? Unfortunately, I'll have to have it flat-bedded to the Honda shop a few miles away.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Not starting, like the engine is not turning over? Or it's turning over, but no ignition?

Fuel, Air, Spark. All 3 are needed to start a car...so work through the list.

1. Do you hear the fuel pump come on? Do you have fuel pressure at the rail? is the fuel pump fuse good?
2. Air- very unlikely the issue- so unless you have a big sock stuffed in the intake...
3. Spark- do you have spark at the plugs. Check your grounds.

That would be my first thought process.

Thanks to all (except smart a** Emil....my alleged buddy from the North Country) - will check into some items. Any other thoughts appreciated. The weird thing is that the car started w/o problem a few days ago.

Check that voltage, across the terminals. Modern batteries tend to do that --- go completely dead without warning.

Check the clutch interlock switch plastic plunger is not broken. Gets brittle over time. Had this happen to me.
