... so I started noticing this loud noise coming from under the car. Usually happens during the very first drive of the day after letting the car warm up and idle It lasts for about 3-4 seconds and it completely dissappears.. The noise sounds like somebody turned on a taser gun under my car or if something like a zip tie was tangled up in the propeller shaft (which there isn't cuz I checked) It has happened in different gears with the clutch fully depressed.. does anybody have any theories? Could it be my clutch going out? it works fine but I know I got like 1 year left of a clutch... Thanks.

no it's not the clutch buzz.. it's a completely different noise. loud and fast just like a Taser gun

 

I have this noise, stay with the zip tie in a propeller shaft analogy because that is a better description than taser.

I'm not concerned about it, but tuned in to this thread for an understanding.

 

ohh ok I'm glad I'm not the only one.. I'm just a bit paranoid about those noises after I got a spun bearing and had to replace the whole engine.. I know it isn't engine knock but I was wondering if anyone knew what it was..
