hid flickers on then turns off

Default hid flickers on then turns off

anyone know why my passanger side hid flickers on for a fraction of a second then turns off?

Swap the bulbs from side to side to see if it follows the bulb. May be a bad ballast or a bad connection.

If an 01, it could be the death rattle of your bulb on its way to burning out.

He means your bulb may be going bad.

if its not any of that posted then you simply need to wire up a relay to the ballast and walah presto. your power shortage is gone.

It's moisture in the ballast.

i am staying tuned. i would love to know how to get the moisture out of the ballast. i will check back tomorow. thanks AGAIN billman you ARE the man.

round 2....

Take the cover off the ballast. There's water bridging the printed circuit board. Dry it with compressed air, and reseal the cover with a 1/16 '' bead of silicone.

Now...you'll see a big braided line with a clamp going into the ballast. Use pliers and slide the clamp back, and pull back the braided cover. You'll see a red wire and a black wire going into the ballast. Seal this with silicone as well, because this is where the water channels in.

Put the braided cover back on and the clamp
