HID Fog Lights

HID Fog Lights
I have 2 HID units and 1 spare projector, I was thinking about using these to make HID fog lights. Obviously i would need one more projector to make a pair. Anyway I would also have to make a housing, but I was wondering if this would be possible to connect a second set of Ballists to run the fog lamps.
I was thinking about this for high beams but the warm up time would make that not such a great idea. So I was thinking fog lights
Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Wow..that would be pretty bright fog lights.
I think you need to consider the angle and spread of the fog light is different than the oem projectors.
Some things to consider:

Spread: http://www.piaa.com/Lamps/LampSelectionGuide.html

ohh yea of course, I would use the housing to aim them properly. Its more of a *hits and giggles project. Just wondering if its possible, and if anyone tried it so i know what to do/avoid

Well i know that the VW passat has fish eye lenses for the fog lights so it would seem easier to install HID fogs in those cars. perhaps i could try using the Passat housings and see if i can fit them on
