Where can i get that purple looking hid... do i just replace the blub or something or the whole thing

 

Just the bulb needs to be replaced. I know a few guys have it done, but I don't know where to get it from. Hopefully someone else will chime in that does

Any D2S will be the correct type of bulb for projector headlights like the S2000. The higher the color temp from 4300k, the less visible light. So 4300k-6000k is usually where you want to stay. 8000k-10000k give off a nice color but you won't get as much light.

 

Here are pics of my lights. I have 10,000's. I notice somewhat of less visibility, but not much at all....
I'm actually selling them right now, and about to put them up in the "For Sale" topic.

 

Best quality and colour, go for PIAA 6000k.
