Your "upgrade" is a downgrade. The stock bulbs are ~6,400-6,500K which is natural daylight.

all stock bulbs are 4300K, which output the most lumens, the higher you go the less useful light you get

ummm, 12000K is a huge difference from 4300K. you are hardly going to see anything at all with that deep purple.

^^^exactly

i suppose to answer your question, you only need to get the bulb. go to ebay and search "12000K D2S HID bulbs". you'll find all your cool purple lights there. i highly suggest you do not do this though.

you can upgrade your bulbs, easy, no change in ballist, they make upgrade hid bulbs, i think the size is ds2, correct me if im wrong, but it just plugs in the factory plug, factory is 4300k but upgrading the bulb might cause a ballist failture or overheat the factory unit, and the 12ks, just look like cheap color bulbs, and takes the hid out of it.. it looks like a hid kit , instead of the nice factory real hids, you u know wat i mean..
