Default HID went out.. HELP!

About a week ago, I noticed my passenger's side HID would go out and It would have to turn the lights on and off to fix it. I would stay on for no more than 5-10 minutes and go back out. Well, two days ago, I turned it on and it was a dark purple color and then went completely out. The headlight will not even turn on now. I'm not sure if it's a ballast or bulb. I'm going to switch the bulb to the other side and see if it works.. Any input will be greatly appreciated!
