so el nino has arrived and drove my car the other day after 2 days of hard raining and i am noticing my high beams are turning on and off randomly when theyre suppose to be off..
what could be causing this?? high beams would stay on for about 1-2 secs then shut off and turn on randomly again within minutes... getting pretty annoying that i am high beaming every body on the road

 

Maybe headlight relay got damp? It is in fuse/relay box, under hood by battery. Pull and use contact cleaner on connections.

Perhaps a problem with the stalk on the wheel?

I know its a different car but my mum had this issue with her citroen picasso and after replacing the stalk it fixed the problem.
