High Boost?
Dont have an S2K...debating between a 350Z or a S2K. One thing that could help out in me choosing is the aftermarket. Both have different F/I routes I could take and am probably gonna go with a turbo. Thing is...most people I see are running relatively conservative boost numbers. If you build up the internals...could you run higher boost levels? I would really like to eventaully get into the low 11's on pump gas and know that it's gonna take time...but that's not an issue. With the S2K's extremely high compression...would this be possible or would I just have one big headache even with forged internals (also, pointing out some weakpoints in the drivetrain would be much appreciated)
Thanks guys...

In my opinion. If you want to run 11's don't even consider either. Go to Buschurracing.com. Check out the build up on the EVO. Don't cost much and runs 11's with the stock turbo. I am sure low 11's to 10's with a full upgrade on the turbo system.

AS LONG AS YOU BUILD THE BOTTOM END WITH 9:1 COMPRESSIONS PISTONS YOU'LL BE OK.BUILD THE BOTTOM WITH PISTONS AND RODS AND WITH THE RIGHT STAND ALONE (SUCH AS THE A.E.M EMS) YOU SHOULD DO OVER 350 RWHP AT 9-12 PSI, YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY DO CLOSER TO 400 RWHP MAYBE OVER (DEPENDING ON YOUR SET UP) WITH 14 PSI. THE DIFFERENTIAL ON THESE CARS ARE NOT AS STRONG AS OTHERS BUT WILL HOLD IT DEPENDING ON HOW YOU DRIVE THE CAR, LETS JUST SAY YOU HAVE TO PAMPER IT AND CAN NOT DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT...
(EXAMPLE: CHANGE FLUID EVERY 25 TO 30K, NO DUMPING THE CLUTCH, NO OFF THE LINE RACING, ETC.)

All I have to say is.. If you want a fun car and a good handling car get the S2000. If you want a car to go fast in get the Z.. I have over $73,000 into mine and now i am doing my 5th engine rebuild.. way too many headaches.. Run towards the 350Z..
