Default High Warm Idle

Hey Guys,

My S2000, ever since Ive had it, idles at 1600 RPM when warm. I've done some searching on here and discovered many threads saying I should clean my idle control valve.

I've just been out and done this and still the problem persists. Ive reset the ECU and pulled the backup fuse also. The throttle cable is loose and not sticking at all and the only thing I can do to stop the high idle is to pull the MAP sensor. When I do this, the idle settle to 1000 RPM, but the engine check light is on.

I cant see any air leaks in the system. What could this be? Im guessing either a faulty MAP or ICV sensor?

Try a brand new map sensor. Sounds like that is the culprit. Good luck!
