Default HKS Fan Controller

Hey guys I just installed an HKS fan controller, and i do not think the water temp sensor is working properly. I searched some on the forum and found the factory water temp sensor pinout on the ECU and connected it to that. The controller says that it can use the factory water temp sensor and display a real time reading. The reading that I cam getting is 104 celcius. I think this is a little high. Does anyone else have an HKS fan controller, or know what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
