HKS Hi-Power Question

Received my HKS Hi-Power exhaust and noticed something. Each tip, towards the front edge has a hole on both sides. I thought this kind of odd. Do they all have this? What's the point?

How wide are the exhaust? like the openings? 2 inches?

Cause my one old (fromt couple years back) does not have the two holes...

As far as I know, my HKS doesn't have any holes. I bought it around 2 years ago.

The holes are in fact for baffles / silencers. They started producing them that way about 6 months ago. (much to my dismay as well) I've even gone to a machine shop to see of they could do anything to fill them and they said they couldn't. Oh well. The exhaust does sound awesome though.
