just took my comptech airbox out the tried to clean the filter, why da hell there are water in my airbox? it was rainning for coupe days last month. damn where is the water come from.......?????

I have this same problem. Usually after I wash the car. Not enough water to get in the filter though. Thinking about drilling a small hole to drain the water.

 

I drilled a couple of 1/4 inch holes in the bottom of the box at the lowest point to drain the standing water

 

but how about if rainning? will the water comes in the filter and engine?

 

I've never checked. I thinks that it would have to rain pretty hard to get in there. If your worried I would drill the small holes as nzaizar said.
