Default Holy crap...

So I was up late last night trying to check the MIL/CEL codes yesterday the "do it yourself way" by way of "flashing CEL" method. I did what was suggested in another post by bridging i think what they said was the #1 pin and #13 pin. Didn't work for me, called it a night and this morning I go to start my car and it won't start... at all. The engine cranks smoothly but does not start at all... not even a sputter.

I hope I totally didn't f*** the ECU up. I made a quick glance under the hood at a couple of the fuse boxes to find nothing blown. Can anyone provide any suggestions or insight on what I might have possibly blown?

Oh... and its an '03, if that matters. Thanks!

I just had similar symptoms and it ended up being the ignition coil, or something along those lines.

If I remember correctly that was fourth from the bottom on the left hand side when your looking at the panel under the dash.

I have never liked this "jumping pins" routine for getting the codes. Just too easy to jump the wrong pins. It's cramp space and dark down there and those pin slots are so tiny. I always have visions of .......................

Anyone have any idea what the 4th pin from the left on the bottom row of the data link connector connects to? Was looking through the Helm's manual for the DLC schematic but doesn't seem to be in there.
