What type of info are you providing here? PPM, mg, some other random unit of measure?? When everyone (except potassium) is more it's like your doing the food company trick of reducing the serving size.

Curious about RR opinion on this additive...

All the numbers are PPM and from Blackstone Laboratories.

Synpower Oil Treatment has a lot more Moly and costs less than $5 for an 15 oz bottle.

I would put 1oz of Synpower Oil Treatment per quart of oil at every oil change for all my cars. The bottle is 15 oz, you can use one bottle for 2 or 3 oil changes.

The simple answer is if you have a good quality synthetic oil and you change it at regular intervals you don't need to. It is not clear that this will help make your oil perform better.

I used Maxlife Engine Protector at the first oil change at 3700 miles. The car has about 7500 miles now and I just performed the second oil change. Both oil changes were with regular oil, Motocraft 10w30. Instead of using a bottle of Maxlife Engine Protector, for the same amount of $, I am using only 1/3 bottle of Synpower Oil Treatment. The remaining 2/3 will be used for other two cars' oil change in about 3 months. The cost of adding Maxlife Engine Protector to each oil change is less than $2, which is very cheap to protect the engine.

FYI you do know the other VOA that was done on Synpower Oil Treatment

Iron 1
Aluminum 1
Lead 5
Tin 10
Sodium 3
Potassium 10
Moly 234
Boron 289
Calcium 85
Magnesium 24
Phos 1578
Zinc 1565
Antimony 30

VI @ 100c 232.7
VI Index 228
TBN 2.58

It is not clear at all that this does have more moly than MLEP. There still is a degree of controversy on oil boards about this product.

Can you put this in? Sure, will it hurt the engine, probably not. Will it help...who knows. You're existing oil may be perfectly fine without it. The only way to know is to examine the UOA.
