Default Hondata 06/07 reflash

Does anyone know if the Toda reflash works with other headers like J's or Comptech?

Probably a good question to send to Hondata. Or check out their forum on their website to see if someone else asked the same question.

Personally...I think it would work OK...but likely not to be optimized for anything other than the Toda. Still...given that each car is different, their tuning tollerances must be broad in order to make sure the variance between cars wouldn't create a too lean situation.

"While we will not create custom tunes for any other combinations of bolt on parts, other headers will probably be ok. You should always dyno the engine with the reflash to make sure the air/fuel is within a safe range. If the header does not work then your options are to switch to a Toda header or return your ECU to stock." From their website.

So there is a way to disable the "mod" I guess. Interesting. I wonder if they just solder a chip socket like the old B-Series ECU's.
