If it doesn't make a good seal, you could hydrolock cylinder #4 on coolant.

You could've dropped a nut or bolt into the intake runner, which would fall on top of one of the valves. When you crank it up, either the nut/bolt will fall into the combustion chamber, or it will snap the valve and that will drop into the combustion chamber. Either way, your piston will probably shatter, you'll throw a rod and punch a giant hole out the side of the block.

You may also lose oil pressure.

Yah, and if that happens, it probably won't run well either.

Probably due to the drop in oil pressure. Be careful when you lose oil pressure; you may overheat and seize the engine.

I'm sure everything will be fine.

You did, after all, ask for the worst-case scenario.

so if I punch a hole out the side of the block because of a fallen nut, should I still worry about the engine getting sezied because of no oil pressure ?

Well, how exactly would you determine what seized the motor? Would it be the shattered piston, the coolant from the busted water jacket, or the loss of oil pressure?
