I am in the process of rebuilding my f20 and i noticed that the cylinder walls look extra smooth..... do they coat the cylinder walls or do you just hone it like a normall wall? Also is there a certain type of hone that is needed...... thanx for the help

I assume you have an OEM Service manual (www.helmsinc.com). Yes, the bores need to be honed. It takes a special type of hone to do it too. That is referanced in the service manual. If you don't have one, buy one ASAP. You will never figure out the OEM bearing if you don't.
