Hood Dampers
I just ordered a set of NRG Hood Dampers for my S.
http://www.getnrg.com/nrghooddamper_kit.php
Do I keep the stock hood prop arm in place? or do I remove it?
I know it doesn't interfere, but I thought maybe since it wasn't needed anymore, I could take it out.
What has everyone else done?

I've come accross two types of hood dampers in my days.
The Tein's suck. The hood only opens about 45 degrees.
A guy here by the name of Milkbubble has an awesome set, they put the hood almost straight up.

I like the height of the Teins the best. Exactly the same level as the hood prop actually. Makes it look nice for shows as well. The NRG's are more powerfull though. You feel like the hood is going to fly away when you let go.
Anyway, to the question. I took my hood prop out and shelved it. I doubt you'll need it unless you're doing work on the dampers or need the hood to go straight up.
