There is some info and pictures on my web site here . The BLUE wire in step 2 is the one you want. If it's more convenient, it's also available at the ECM, on connector A, terminal 19, again a BLUE wire.

Well, it is his biz, but my guess is he is going to install a gauge cluster, or wants a larger tach in the line of sight so he does not have to take his eyes off the road - essential for racing. Plus, one can install an aftermarket tach and have the redline displayed at different RPM, to suit one's driving style and/or mods. And even have an audible and bright light trigger.

When Schumacher installs a Monster tacho in his F1 car that's when I'll replace the digital tacho. Till then, the only addition is Modifry's Redline Shift Warning Module.

to each his own.

Have you replace the gauge cluster with something else or are you leaving it the same just a analog tach? There are different clusters avalible... although the more I think about it they are digi display to so I guess your doing this custom then.. Are you going to install it in the gauge cluster space? Because that would look killer I'm not even sure if its possible because of the odometer and what not but I was just curious where your going to install it.

I'll shortly be adding a tacho and speedo to my car.

I'm actually adding it for all the other displays but the basic unit comes with speed and tacho.
