Nice job, but I will just stick with splicing my current 12v plug and tapping into that power and ground... plus, I will never plug in any devices that will require too much juice, and assuming someone does that, thats what the fuse is for... again, nice job.

Very nice write up. Very clean and a great spot for us guys with a radar detector, and cell phone or gps. Everyone knows long trips require GPS and a radar at the same time.

nice write up. i have an adaptor that i bought at radio shack that plugs into the 12v accessory outlet and has two plugs coming out of it for 2 accessories to plug into it at the same time. it doesnt look at nice or as clean as urs though. nice DIY.

Hey that's one way of doing it with out the work.

But I didn't like the factory location to begin with. The cords always got in the way of the gear shift.

this is true, the factory location is not the best. it gets in the way of the shifter.

HOLY mother ...
i finally finished it..
i hard wire my Gps Charger with the installation infos here...
so finally i don't have to touch the wire every time i shift..

forgot something...
i got everything from Pepboys..
everything not more then $20..
but if u go to the shop they will charge u atleast $50 with thier stuffs.

well sorry for not having any pictures ,because my camera broked lolzz..
anyway
i did all what ur pictures show thier...
but the add a mini circuit plug, got 2 plug holes on it..
so i am not sure which 1 to go with , but i put 2x number 10 fuse into it...

Yes that is what you do.
I guess I should have said that.

You remove the number 10 in the fuse panel.
add it to one spot on the Add A Circuit- then add an Additional 10amp
