Default How to bypass CEL after installing a test pipe

Hey guys,

I bought a test pipe and I'm ready to install it but I've heard that the CEL light comes on afterwards.

Is there a way to resolve the CEL issue?

Thanks!

I suggest searching and reading the FAQs. It's been covered (many times).

Good job reviving a 6-month old thread (that should've never existed to begin with).

umm...just a quick question.... I have that spark plug none fouler and its EXACLY the same one in the pic. Do i still need to drill out a bigger hole with a 1/2 inch? or does the O2 sensor fit right in and just screw it up to the second fouler then into the test pipe?

F'n A, man... it took me literally 27 seconds to find this thread:
Mechanical O2 Simulator installation stuff

About 6 posts down in that thread are explicit steps for the procedure.

If you put another anti-fouler on top of the cel fix, the o2 sensor will be too far out and it wont fit. I bought the 2007 o2 fix from e-autosports and it still throws a CEL after 50 miles or so. The only option for 2007's are, a) try stuffing steel wool into the o2 fix b) Go with a hi-flow cat c) wait for hondata or something to have a program to turn the o2 sensor off.
