Default How do I decifer the E-manage error codes?

Just finished installing my turbo and everything is running good but the red light is blinking on the e-manage telling me there is an error. I looked at the instruction booklet but I still cant figure out how to tell what error it is. I am getting two solid lights for about 1 second then it waits a couple seconds and then three quick lights. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Matt

That would be error code 23. No injector signal for injector #3. Check / double-check your wiring. The error codes are also in the manual, as well as the instructions on how to read them. Note: There are more error codes listed in the Support Tool manual than the eManage manual.

To answer your question, and for others on the board, the way you read the error codes is like this: The first flashes tell you the first number, such as two flashes will mean it's a twenty-something error. Then it will pause, then the rest of the flashes will come. These are the 2nd digit. So, two flashes, a pause, then three flashes equals 23. 21-24 are the injector signal error codes.

If you ever see a red (not orange) flashing light on the eManage you will need to turn the car off, then the power back on to see the error code. If you turn the car off again, the codes will be lost until they come up again (when you start the car most likely).

We had this exact problem on a board members car we were tuning. My mechanic sodered the wires, and when he did he appearantly got the wire too hot. It melted inside the terminal and caused two of the wires to be connected. It took us forever to figure out what the problem was, but it ended up being the wiring.

Yeah the E-Manage is working good now without errors. Now I just have to figure out why I keep getting a check engine light about every other time I start the car.

Probably because of the air pump for the cat...does your kit allow that to be hooked up still?
