Default How do you reset after oil change?

I just changed my oil, double checked everything and no leaks. The only problem Im having is turning the little wrench sign light, and the oil life sign that shows when you need to change your oil off, and showing the milage, time, and outside temperature.

I apologize if this has been covered. Id appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks in advance, and God bless.

My car didnt come with a manual. Whats the point to say "read your manual"

Guishin, I would try holding down the trip reset while you turn the key on. This is how you reset the maint. light on the earlier models

He has an '07, it comes with a manual. The point of saying "read the manual" is that this stuff is outlined in detail within the manual. I wouldn't reference it if it didn't already contain the answer to his question. It's no different than telling him to read the FAQ, which might have the answer for an '06+...not sure. Which is why I reference the manual.

I must say. To the OP, you have a brand new 07 and didnt even bother looking through the manual!? That is one of the first things you do at least when you get a car...more on a new car. It just gets too repetitive when you answer the same questions every week, and easy ones that could be dealt with if you read the manual or even type it in the search box on the upper right corner. Well, just my .02 cents.

seriously, the manual only takes about 15-20 minutes to read through.
it's only like 5 sentences per page!!!
and you dont even have to read most of it. half of whats in it is common sense. like how to open the hood, wher the gas lid release lever is, how to lower the top. how to replace a light bulb, how to use the HVAC.
realy you only need to thumb it and you're done.

Did you check the secret compartment for the Manual?
I can't believe you took delivery of a 2007 S2000 and they forgot to give you all the paperwork that comes with it.
When you find it you'll learn more then you can ask on this forum.

P.S. This is what new people get when they are too lazy to look things up. After you learn a little more about your car come back - because everyone here is actually very nice.

P.P.S. God Bless you.

Radcliffe..let me clear a few things you misunderstood with the posts before you get flamed; The OP never said he didnt have it, it was Blackout, the third guy to post, who stated he didnt get one when he purchased his used s2000. All of us are trying to make a point to him as well as the OP that when you purchase a new one, we all know he's got a manual and just too lazy to read it which is pretty sad. And like yourself, we cant help ppl that dont help theselves first....
