Default how gearing effects torque

i saw a thread awhile back showing the hp/tq differences between the ap1 and ap2 but i was wondering is someone can make a chart for ap1's and ap2's with 4.44/4.57/4.77s.i only ask because on a dyno it wont show any difference.

gears wont change the tq in a car...just get you into the powerband faster...letting you use it.

something a little off subject. I keep hearing gears won't effect hp/tq, I hear it wont add anything, just makes the powerband more useful. But, when on the dyno, you would see differences in power when you dyno in 3rd and when you dyno in 4th. Generally the higher gears should display more power. You would use a gear closest to a 1:1 ratio for the dyno.

Shouldn't 4.56/4.77 gears effect the dyno as well? I used to have a 1jz supra and changed the rear from a 3.53 clutch diff to a 4.1 torsen diff, the change is like night and day. Great power off the line in the lower gears, the higher gears wasn't as noticable.

Torque = (HPxRPM)/5252

Gearing will not make a difference...
