How get to the stock ECU?

Default How get to the stock ECU?

Hi,

Want too get too the stock ECU, wondering where its located and is there any threads on how to get to it?

drivers side kick panel. its not really hard. just pop a few panels and boom there it is.

Then it's the passenger side. LOL

Seriously, pull the sill cover, then pop off the kick panel. It's held in with one (I think) 10mm bolt.

Thanks Aus, are you running a after market ECU or piggyback?

Where did you put the aftermarket ECU?

Aftermarket. AEM EMS. It's installed under the passenger seat.

How do you get the black clips off that hold the center carpet in place?

Not sure what clips you are referring to. Under the sill panel the carpet is hooked onto a body seam. I simply lifted it up and ran the cable along there. Then I made a slip in the carpet where the seat bolts to the floor and pulled the cable out there.

Ok, Ive removed the carpet and up to a silver sheet lining I need to pull this off?

Or is it better to make a cut where the ECU is only if knew where it was located then I could cut it there...
