is 280-300bhp availabe from the s2k engine via n/a mods

or have honda reached the limit from the 2.0l lump

does any one on here have a hard tunned s2000 on here any info ? links?

 

i think i have read about NA S2000's putting down over 250 horsepower to the wheels or more

i'm sure someone on the board as a highly tuned S2k

 

yes 300whp is attainable n/a. this engine probably has the most potential for getting high hp numbers than any other honda engine.

 

other than the c30/c32.

 

would you say its superior then the k20a2 uk CTR engine as in tune ability/costs

 

including the C30/C32.

 

costwise no. you can get more bang for the buck out of the K20. but if money is available, you'll get higher peak hp out of the S2k. the K20 is more well rounded in the mid range and has better tuning potential, but the S2k will get you the higher numbers, and better numbers top end.

keep in mind, I'm talking more potential for higher top end, vs more potential for tuning power.
