Sireousrex...was the softtop removal easy? Did it come out in one piece or multiple pieces? Do you think you could put it back in if you needed to?

It comes out in one piece, but you have to take a lot of stuff out to remove it. Roll hoops, center console, rear tray etc...

It took us about 2-3 hrs to get it out, and would guess putting it back would add about 2 more on top of that.

I will be using this when I get my top. I do have a question though. Do strikers come with the kit? I order strikers because I have a 2001 and assumed strikers didnt come in the kit. Im finding that they are actually included but want to confirm. Hopefully HTG lets me refund the strikers if I dont need em.

I attempted to remove the driver's side wind noise this weekend and failed

Adjusting the hardtop actually made things worse even though all seem to be at spec now. Instead of wind noise at just the driver's window corner by the top windshield, I now seem to have slight wind noise everywhere.

One easy way to remove my original wind noise would have been to use a thin piece of foam between the hardtop and the window frame. That's what I'm doing now.

Before adjusting my hardtop, I installed the hardtop strikers. Didn't make much of a difference on my 05. One of these days, I'll adjust to get rid of that dang wind noise by the driver's shoulder.

No. When you start the removal process, you will see. Even that metal gusset that you have to dent in with a punch gets taken out.

The hardtop catchers will only be held in with two bolts instead of two once you remove the soft top. This is OK and I had no problems, so don't get nervous when you get to that point
