If you are that picky... you can always grab a heat gun and start removing some of that lovely sound deadening tar. Or hell, I read a Sport Compact Car once and they had a Si Civic that they even took out the damn ebrake cable to one wheel... talk about going overboard!

Guys, guys, I just meant basic stuff that wouldn't change the car much. Sort of like a Type-R of our own making. Add some parts that enhance performance and make the car lighter @ the same time kind of thing. I think the problem here is cash. It seems to be a very expensive endeavor to lighten this car (unless Honda would do it for us).

I'm weighing my car @ 1PM today...

Well, the jury is in...

The car weighed 3021...

Now, lets take off the xtras... The driver was 190lbs, the stuff I had in the back came to 4lbs, the WORK wheels that I have + the larger S03's add about 24lbs, STB is a few lbs as well, but I don't know how much so I'll call it 2lbs. The car had a full tank of gas (less than 1 mile on it) and that is about 76lbs, so...

3021
190 -
4 -
24 -
2 -

2801 total with a full tank, 2747 with a quarter tank.

Looks like Honda was quite accurate, at least on my car.

Thanks for the info; I can't believe there's much difference between unmodified cars.

As UL has mentioned, the seats are quite heavy, if you switch to racing seats you should be able to save 20lbs easy, and the header is another 10. Did you take out the spare? Did you go on a diet? hehe
