how much does a rebuild cost

My bottom end is about to crap out on me and I am wondering how much just the labor for rebuilding it would be...I have no Idea....

can you be a little more vague? it will be atleast $2k if you don't need a new block or head (if they can machine your current ones) and upwards of $8k if they have to be replaced.

the car only has 16,000 miles on it.....#3 cylinder was miss-fireing...not sure if the crank is damaged...I'm pretty sure only the bottom end is damaged

Bring it back to the dealer.

Have you modded the car at all?

I can't bring it back to the dealer.....I bought it off a private party with no warranty......completely stock

You cant buy it without warranty from a private party. No matter wh oyou buy it from it has warraty for 36000 miles I belive or 3 years. If you are under these numbers you HAVE warranty.
