Default how much hp i'd be getting with this setup?

k so far spoon style CF airduct/spoon filter/T1R exhaust with testpipe and professionally and properly tuned apex vafc...what would be the estimate hp numbers be to the wheels and the crank? also got a silvers epower voltage stabilizer that claims to gain 2-3 whp but i highly doubt it...and if combined with a grounding kit suppose to claim gains up to 5-7 whp...u think t1r earthing system combined with the stabilzer would offer good gains?
my goal wanting to reach 240 whp NA

you'll gain about a whole 5rwhp from whatever your making now.

The grounding kit will add about 50hp on top of those mods though.

The voltage stabilizer is probably just a hyped up name for a capacitor...which with the strong alternator on this car...does absolutely nothing unless your battery or alternator is shot.

5rwhp from all those mods. I was being sarcastic about the grounding kit. There are too many grounding points on this car for it to be a weak point like other previous hondas. You will gain nothing from it and spend $20 that you can spend on gas. Same with the "voltage stabilizer"...useless. The factory alternator works very well and pumps plenty of amps in all RPM's.

I'd guesstimate 5-10 whp after tuning with the VAFC based on what I've in past threads. The grounding kit will probably smoothen your idle but I don't think you'll see any hp gains from it. The butt dyno will probably give you a decent reading.

Honestly, 5 hp tops. If you want 240 rwhp N/A, don't bother. Even the hottest N/A setup around (mega bucks) doesn't even see those numbers. Don't think you can buy some gadgets and improve on an engine that's been in development since the early 90's which already holds the record for N/A power per liter. FI is the only way to make considerable hp gains on this car. Most people that mod their car for N/A power will get walked by my stock S2000.

Stupid question but what is N/A? Why does Honda and the other companies list the flywheel hp in their car specifications and not the hp at the wheels? Is it different for AWD and FWD cars. How much rwhp does the S have stock?

btw, i have the T1R. its supposed to yield 12hp gain. im not sure if that is at the wheels though. I definitely feel better throttle response compared to my stock exhaust system. I like the sound alot too. I wonder hot much better it sounds
with the testpipe.

N/A means naturally aspirated. Which means it breathes normally, with out the aid of a supercharger or turbo. Crank hp is listed cause it looks better, more appealing. Stock S2000 rwhp ranges from 195-205, give or take...

With the test pipe installed, and the VAFC properly tuned, I'd guess you'll see 8-12hp peak, but the biggest gains will be above 8300RPM, where the VAFC allows you to lean out the mixture quite a bit. IIRC, I gained 15-20hp above 8300 RPM just by tuning w/ the VAFC... but this doesn't impact your peak numbers. It just allows you to maintain power all the way to redline.
