Default How are my compression numbers?

NOTE: Car was warm and in operating temperature. However, I forgot to go WOT during this test

So, because I didn't do WOT, do I need to repeat the test?If I don't need to repeat the test, how are my numbers? Are they consistent enough? Thank you!

Those compression numbers are solid. Testing with WOT would just raise them a bit, but I wouldn't be concerned about retesting with numbers in the 200s and fairly close

Fantastic! Thank you for checking.

I want to start tracking my car a bit, or at least learn how to behave on the track. And I wanted to make sure my car won't grenade on it.

Thank you!

Compression mostly tells you how much power potential the motor still has. It doesn't reveal much about if the motor is going to grenade on you.

For that you want to do an oil analysis.

In case you are running an AP1, also check your valve retainers before taking it to the track - there's no indication for cracked retainers on an oil analysis nor a compression test.
