Default How to replace steering wheel with 06 wheel?

I have a 2006 steering wheel + airbag + cruise control buttons that I want to install but I need some help. Does anybody have some pictures and/or some instructions on how to replace the steering wheel?

Isn't it just the center section? You may not have to replace the wheel itself. But why pay all that money for a new airbag / cover for a square sticker?

Let's see. There should be a few screws holding the airbag in so take those off (make sure your face is NO WHERE near the air bag just in case it goes off). Unclip the airbag connector. There should be a nut holding the wheel in so take that off. Then use a steeringwheel puller to take off wheel.

Install is reverse instructions.

It think he is suggesting that step one for replacing a wheel is "Remove Airbag cover". If that is the case, and your old wheel is in good nick, you could just swap the covers and no one would be the wiser. Especially you.

I WANT to replace the whole thing. It is not a matter of wisdom, just personal preference.

Ouch. Sticks and stone may brake my bones but words make baby Jesus cry.

PS. The only 'reason' you've given is 'I WANT'.

I want doesn't get.
