how to switch thremostat and thermo switch????
You're going to need to get under the car for these installs, so you'll need access to either a lift, or a jack and jack stands.
You'll need to drain the coolant first.
The fan switch is a breeze. You just need to get a 22mm wrench if my memory serves me right.
The thermostat was a bitch to get to. Some say they didn't need a special wrench, but I couldn't get a regular socket set to fit in the tight space you have to navigate. Others have recommended either a wobble wrench or extensions to get to the two 10mm bolts you'll need to remove to take off the thermostat.
If you've never refilled coolant before, don't forget to get the combination rad cap/funnel tool or you'll have coolant overflowing everywhere. Also don't forget to open the coolant bleed bolt (also 10mm) right below the intake manifold towards the front of the engine until you've bled the air out of the system.
For someone who has done this before, it would probably take about 30 minutes. For a first-timer, I would think you would need several hours (for a novice, like I am).
Good luck.

Unless you intend on doing a complete flush, you should get the same coolant that is in it now. If you have an '02, you will need the Honda Type II coolant that is already mixed 50/50. You will need 2 gallons of this, and you won't have to add distilled water to it.
well i havn't got them yet i will be ordering them today so i should have them in a couple of days. the fan switch is the one in the front of the engine right. its plan in the light to see right? i have done my coolent before so i should i have prob with this. but i eill let you guys know how it goes. i'm still not quite sure where the thermostat is. if someone could give me a little more detail as to where i is that would help a lot. i have switched a thermo already onmy friends car just now an s2000.
