how to tighten the throttle cable
i looked at my today n the throttle cable was loose how do i tighten it back up :confused:

I just put in a new TB and now I am not sure what idle RPM should be on MY01. Anyone know?

Have the cable on loose with the car running. Tell a friend to sit in the car and tighten until the rpms start to rise a bit and then loosen a little bit. Voila

Leave ~1/4 inch vertical play. This comes straight from Honda. Learn it, live it.

it said free play. my method was to tug it back and forth and measure the "free play"...after all...the pedal pulls on the cable...so i interpret free play to be back and forth in the line that the cable travels... i see no reason why vertical movement has anything to do with the free play. |
