The pulley does add to the inertia of the flywheel.

Car's warm,
Start it again (after like a 10 minute fillup)

Below is a sorta time line.

Car starts, RPM go to 1500, RPM go down to 300-400 and car bogs.

0.0 sec.---, 0.5 sec.-----------, 1.0 sec.--------------------------------------

Not two seconds after the car is started everything is back to normal.

I guess i'm not really saying that it's the pulley.
Just maybe...ya know?

I was thinking that if I brought it to Honda, then they would just blame the pulley.

That just might be due to current weather conditions. My S bounces around sometimes and it seems to be random. It's pretty normal, and the S is not the only car that does this.

Don't worry about it.

Maybe reset your ecu. Could the pulley swap have revealed something the cpu is compensating for? Now remember though - my IQ is REAL low today

Caused by changing the pulley.

thanks gernby. So many variables to consider.

Definately the pulley. Too bad. I still wonder if resetting the ECU would allow it to learn its way around the stumble caused by the lighter pulley? Curious because I was also considering the pulley..... hmmmm.....

Actually, I don't see how the pulley could be causing this. There is not as much of a difference in mass when compared to a lightened flywheel.
