Default I need your help!!!!!

my car went to honda because my diff failed. honda is saying there is no way that an s2000 diff would fail under normal conditions. unless the car was being tracked which it never has been. i need any reports from people who have had there diff fail and had it replaced by honda. thanks

I'm afraid I can't help, but why would it matter if it had been tracked? I can understand them crying wolf if it was modded and tracked, but is there anything in the warranty that states that driving a stock car on the track voids the warranty?

Escalate it to AHM. It sounds to me that your dealer just hasn't seen a failed S2000 diff.

What year is your car and how many miles? Have you recently had the differential fluid changed? Exactly how did the differential fail? Are they going to give you a loaner car while they screw around trying to figure out a way to get out of their obligations?

You'd get more help if you actually put the subject in the heading.

Any clutch drops? They'll send it out to California for inspection. Also, call AHM customer service. But, if you've done a lot of drops, the're going to be able to tell. PM W1ingman. He had his diff fail. Honda split the cost with him.

There's a similar thread here: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=160249
Sounds to me like another problem with a Honda dealership installing the wrong diff fluid.
