Default Idle question

I've got a quick question about my engine idle. When I fire it up cold, it idles around 2k and slowly comes down to ~825-850 after about 4-5 minutes. After that it's fine, stays around in the same 825-850 range. Sorry if this is a stupid question but is this normal in terms the amount of time it takes? Seems kinda long to me. This is in ~75F weather.

P.S. Forgot to add this is on a bone stock AP1.

Thats normal. the fuel system richens the mixture for start up until it gets to operating temps then goes to normal operation. the extra fuel during warm up makes it idle high.
