Default ignition help

my tumblers in the ignition broke (key wouldnt turn anymore) so i picked up a ignition lock cylinder with matching key from a parted s2000.
i swapped the ignition, the car would crank but would not turn over
Is this something that has to do with the immobilizer?
would i need to get this reprogrammed?
any help would be great
thanks

Yes, you'll need your ECU reprogrammed at the dealer to accept the new key that's equipped with an immobilizer.

Check with your local honda dealer for the cost.
