Default Injen Intake Help!!!

I installed an Injen "hot" Air Intake with K&N Filter and I started to notice a whistling sound coming out of the intake. Almost like when your brakes squeak, it is kinda embarrassing.....

I checked all the tubes and they are tight and I check the vacuum value and sensor and they are all OK (thanks to this board). No check engine light..

It happen around 3K- 4K rmps.. When I have the pedal depressed about 1/4 of the way down...

Does any one know why this is happening?

Did I miss something?

Or is this normal and I should live with it?

HELP

D

Its normal. Both my brothers integra and my buddy mikes maxima do the same thing. Mikes sounds like a V-10 at around 4k rpm's shifting for 1st to 2nd. Its sweet! Course his is a cold air, that goes into his front fender behind the bumper but man can it be loud!!!

No worries man its good!

Wait till the filter breaks in.....

I'll let everyone know how their new intake works. I dropped off my car to Injen yesterday(which happens to be 2 minutes from my work) so that they could re-design a whole new intake.

Well, I believe they were going to take the existing intake and work from there. It's made out of aluminum?? I hope to get my car back by the end of the week..
