I wish I still lived in the DC area and then I'd simply use the Evolution guys to do my SC intall. Since I don't, does anybody have a recommendation for a trustworthy shop w/in, say . . . 200 miles of Louisville, KY?

 

Maybe drive to evolution. I did my Vortech with a local shop and I would never step a foot in this shop. Stay with evolution ! Even this shop I went with called Evo and ask question about the Vortech.

 

The call was made to evolution only to ask a question about the black box since Vortech was closed on Saturday.

We installed sky-chicken's Vortech PERFECTLY.

Quote "Vortech replaced the black box and now the car runs great. I have no idea about the horses because now the clutch slips above 7500 RPM (6000 miles on the car). The power is to much for this clutch."

Yup I sure did and I don't reget it for a second. The Evo guys are first class. I can't wait till next summer when I get my WRX STi and I take it down to Evo for some goodies!
