installed battery backwards

Default installed battery backwards

I was installing my civic battery into my s to make sure alternator was fine but didn't pay attention to pos and neg. Heard a wine noise and now car is done. I'm just wondering what to do to fix the issue

If you are lucky you may have just blown the 100 amp main fuse in the underhood fuse box (near the battery). Pull out that fuse, it screws in place with two Phillips screws, and check to see if it is blown. If so you can get a replacement at most auto parts shops at low cost.

Ok I will check that. But the battery was on backwards for a minute. My civic battery looked the same as the s battery but the damn terminals are reversed

Thank your Honda engineers for that one
Running other non-protected electronics from reverse current can be horribly damaging, and even dangerous.
