Unhappy Installed Comptech X Brace

Previous suspension modifications to the car would include comptech rear lower tie bar so basically my suspension was stock.

To be 100% honest I cannot tell if this made any difference or not but if there was a difference it seems like turn in traction and front wheel limit of traction has been increased (could all be in my head) but aside from that I cannot tell a "Huge" difference.

Additionally, I do not autoX my car this was just purchased cause it was cheap and people raved about it and I want the firmest ride possible.

Just some info for others buying it.

I noticed the same thing after I put on the Spoon X-brace --------- nothing! I don't Auto-X either. For the street, it's kind of a waste of money. Oh well, you can't believe everything you hear.

The only thing I've ever noticed from a x-brace is what a flaming PITA tightening a SC belt is with it on.

They usually get in the way for oil changs too.

I've been working on SC and Turbo cars lately, and the X brace complicates it for both of them.

I have the muz X brace...

Well the car felt sloppy and upon turn in it used to lag then track

Now it is better and the car feels connected front to rear

It just feels right... and tight

Well sway bar upgrade could make the next differance

Typically an x-brace makes a difference with turn-in. It sharpens the steering response slightly but there is no guarantee the affect will be the same on all cars. It may not be noticeable to all drivers with varying driving conditions and styles. I have done back to back tests with and without on my car and there is a definite but subtle improvement in steering response.
