Default Installed SOS clutch today.

Removing misc stuff from engine bay.

Heres what the stock setup looks like.

Act flywheel installed

SOS clutch installed

Car on lift shot.

Driving impressions so far, pedal effort same as stock. Engagement point about same as stock, but it grabs alot harder so I gotta get used to it. Engine revs alot faster now during heel-toe downshifting due to flywheel. Now I need to save for boost.

nice shop! I've never seen that kind of lift before... interesting. is the SOS clutch made by Science of Speed? or is it a modified version of a clutch made by some other brand?

I think SOS is where I'll be going when I install a clutch. And yes, interesting lift that i've never seen before.

How many miles before you had to replace a clutch in a 2007? or did you just replace to upgrade? Is this their top of the line clutch?

Thanks,
Tan

Looks like the sport clutch I have the same one just not installed yet. Its not there high end carbon one, This one is there lower end one good for lower end turbo setups and most s/c's .

Are you guys talking about the in-ground lifts? Theyre kind of a pain in the ass for low cars, my car barely fits on there and I have stock suspension. I'll definitely need to get some wooden boards/ramps when I lower my car.

I think most aftermarket clutches are modified oem clutches, except for the specialized multiplate clutches.

I have 44k miles right now, I replaced it because my clutch was making a squeaking noise and weird resistance feeling near the end of the pedal travel(it would go away when I rev my engine high rpms and would come back eventually). I took off the stock clutch and everything looks good. I'm guessing something was up with the pressure plate. It's their sport clutch, not their top of the line multiplate clutch. I'm only planning to supercharge/turbo my car under 400whp anyway so there's no need to get the other one.
